I almost forgot that it was time for Five Question Friday. Then I saw the reminder Mama M. left at The Blog Frog. These may be some of my favorite questions yet. Well, a couple of them anyway. If you'd like to answer too, do a post and link up to My Little Life.1. What are you most afraid of?
I used to be afraid of dying. I still am, don't let me fool you. But now, my biggest fear, beyond a shadow of doubt, is something happening to one of my children. At times I even feel a little panick stricken thinking about all there is that could happen. It's seriously a sick obsession for which I have considered seeking help. Really, I have thought about talking to our Priest...but honestly don't want to hear about how I need to let go of my earthly bonds, etc. If it were that easy, I would have done it already.
2. Do you use a flat iron or curling iron?
I have used both, but not for a long time. My hair is as short as it is now because when it was long, I seldom managed to do anything other than pull it back into a ponytail. Now it's just a round brush and hair dryer.
3. Hands-free or phone to the ear?
Phone to the ear. I have to say this...I don't have anything against the hands-free set, but when you are in a place where you don't need it, then get over yourself. I don't mean you, the you reading this. I mean the self-important morons who speak loud enough for everyone in a mile radius to hear, while sitting at a table in a restaurant, using hands-free (or vitually anywhere that its use would be just frivilous). What the? Serious?
4. Do you have a matching bedroom set?
Yes. Me gusta mucho!
5. Do you believe in the paranormal?
Hmmm. Let's see. My normal answer would be, I just don't know. However, this is catching me at an apropos time. Andy has been out of town the past two nights, and I have been awake until the wee hours, jumping at every little noise, straining to see shadows in the dark, and avoiding looking towards the location on the walls which house mirrors. Make of it what you will.
Your turn. Don't care to post, leave me a comment or two with some answers. I'm interested in what people have to say to numbers 1 and 5 the most.
Oh, and do you have any quirks that others view as off the wall? I do...you can read about my crazy here if yo haven't yet.

I'm new from friday follow
I am with you! I hate when people scream into that thing and look like they are talking to themselves. LOL Its frustrating sometimes I think they are talking to me until I see that their ear is glowing ;)
Have a wonderful weekend girlie!
Hmmm... I will play.
1- I am not really afraid of too many things. Although my stomach involuntarily flips when I walk past the railing of a set of stairs holding a child (I think I am afraid I will somehow through them over the side). When my babies stand near the top of stairs my heart catches and I hold my breath. They have all fallen down the stairs and yet it is still one of my greatest fears... seeing my mangled babies at the bottom.
2- Neither I use a blow dryer that IS a round brush it is too difficult for me to hold both objects and do something productive at the same time. Kind of like chewing gum while skipping :)
3- phone stuck between ear and shoulder dragging little people along
4- Yes after 12 years of using the dresser my husband grew up with we FINALLY bought one. Love it!
5- Yes most definitely believe in the paranormal. Have a long family history of "seeing" things that aren't supposed to be there.
Through was supposed to be throw. I should read what I type before sending...
and don't ya just hate it when people ignore their kids while on the phone in public... or worse yet... use it in the public bathroom... leave the bathroom before you answer a call people... have you NO dignity! ;)
Have a great weekend!
Just Jenn~
LOL...my husband is CONSTANTLY trying to impress me with the ease of a hands free phone, and it just won't work for him!! :) He'll be all like actin cool and say ""call jake lieser!" and the phone will say "did you say call joe beeser??", and Mike will be like "CALL JJAAKKEE LLEEESSEERRR" and she will go "did you say call Jake Meeker??".
I am meanwhile cracking up! Just pick up the darn phone and DIAL!!! Lol! He wants to show me soo bad, but it bites him in the butt every time!
#5 definitely and without a doubt. We had a very paranormal experience here a year or so ago. *shudder* I blogged about it. Maybe I'll try and find it and send you the link
Oooh I hate it too when people are just look like they are talking to themselves. If you are not driving you do not need it!
I am beyond terrified of something happening to my kids too. I said in mine that I am scared something will happen to me and they will be without a mother. But every time they are sick I think the worst. And all these CSI's and doctor shows just don't help at all. I thought about it too, getting help because I do think about it a lot and it causes me a lot of anxiety. I don't know. Will see if it gets worse.
Love your bedroom set answer.
I'm stopping by from Friday Follow to say hello!

Love the "I See Dead People" title...
I'm also a devout user of the ponytail... but you can rest assured that any time my hair is NOT in a pony, I am using my flat iron. Haven't used a curling iron in ages... it's probably broken in multiple pieces somewhere.

Confessions From A Working Mom
I am scared of heights and yes I believe in ghost because I see them a lot lately.
I hate being home without my husband at night. I jump at everything and avoid mirrors too! I guess I figure in all of the scary movies mirrors are bad things. I will usually sleep with my gun under my pillow on those nights! :)
My hair is shorter now because I just do the ponytail thing, too.
About having anxiety over your kids- me too!! It's so hard. Like every night before I go to bed I pray to God that Brad won't suffocate in his sleep and that he will be safe. He was in our room for 9 months and it's been 5 months since he's been in his own room and I'm still having a hard time with it!
And, I get scared when my hubby is out of town, too. Ugh! So many noises that I wouldn't have paid attention to if he were there!
I'm also afraid of something happening to one of my children. I can go into a full blown panic attack if I let my mind go there.
I worry about something happening to my children too. I think it's just normal for us moms. When my minds goes there, I just try to focus on something else.
I love my bedroom set too! Is that so wrong???
Happy Friday!
Ihate heights seriously hate them.. and yep I believe in an afterlife.. I think some get stuck here for whateveer reason and my son has seen them.Well actually all of my kids have seen people that have passed on.. my youngest is still able to see them the other 2 outgrew it as they got older
Ohh interesting. Ive never participated in this, I might have to try it sometime.
In regards to #5.. I TOTALLY believe in the paranormal. I'm a devoted Ghost Hunters fan, love it, love them. I can definitely sense a lot of things, and I for sure believe that just because we can't see it, doesn't mean it's not there.
Freaky!
I could have wrote the exact same answer for number 1...I get physically sick and have anxiety attacks sometimes. ugh!
I love your hair!! I think that every time I see your picture up there in the corner...is that what it looks like now? Super cute!!
Following you from the Friday Follow!
http://stacievaughansblog.blogspot.com
Hi there! I'm your latest following from Friday Follow! I look forward to reading more of you!
I agree. I don't want to hear someone describing how their night of clubhopping went.
I'm following you from Friday Follow.
Oh my gosh, I do the same thing when I am the only adult in the house! I hear EVERY noise!!
I was in Old Navy the other day and this girl had her bluetooth on, only I didn't know because I couldn't see it. Well I was holding a dress and she was browsing through the same section, looking exactly at the dress I had over my arm. Then the first thing I hear out of her mouth is "OH, EW!" In my head I am going "excuse me, but did you not notice I am TRYING ON that dress you just ewww'ed? That was totally rude of you!" Thankfully I kept my mouth shut because she continued on about something else and I realized she was on the phone.
Your answer to #1 is mine as well, though I was thinking about it today and remembering that when I was little my biggest fear was something happening to my Mom. I notice that my little ones seem to worry about that too. Its kind of interesting, if I am paying close enough attention I catch him trying to protect me while I protect him.
Yup, the people in waiting rooms who are sharing their biz with the entire crowd of people waiting...I mean, your here to tell the dr about your ED, not the 12yr old sitting with his mom because his ear hurts...Annoying.
Other than that, just a high because I like you.
And your blog.
#1- I'm there with you. Something happening to my kids is my biggest fear.
#5- I pretty much believe that anything is possible. Basically b/c I believe in an all-powerful God, so if He wanted to allow something like that, then it's possible. But, I've never had a personal experience with it.
I am not afraid of dying per se---I am afraid of leaving my kids to grow up without a mommy/parents....
I am also afraid of flying. I hate flying on planes, especially little ones. THe bigger the plane, the safer I feel for some reason.
Hey, thanks for the heads up on the email thing, I fixed it now....I think. :) I'm so not tech savvy, surprised I even have a blog sometimes. ;) Hope you're having a good weekend!!
I am with you on those using bluetooth. I always think they are talking to themselves. It just looks odd.
